Are You Ready?
This page is specifically designed for those of you who have found it after the rapture of the Church. (Although, for anyone who reads this before the rapture, it is highly recommended that you think about the consequences of being left behind and seriously consider committing your life to Jesus Christ if you have not already done so.)
With that said...
I bet the air waves are just buzzing right about now. Television, radio, internet, telephones, faxes all just running full bore with the news how a great portion of the world population has suddenly disappeared into thin air. Poof! Gone!
I can imagine what the CNN, MSNBC, and the Fox News channels are spouting as plausible explanations for the disappearances. How can they explain cars sitting in the middle of the intersection, engines idling, with no owner in sight? Or the sound of a cake mixer spinning wildly on a countertop without the baker? How many bicycles and skateboards are abandoned in the parks? Or a jet ski circling around, as if looking for it's rider? FBI X-Files would be collecting overtime with all the "super-natural" leads coming in on their phone lines. Aliens? Terrorists? Hijackers? Before you start listening to hundreds of different stories of varying points of view, listen to me - IT WAS THE RAPTURE! Jesus Christ took us from this earth and into heaven.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV) "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
1st Corinthians 15:51-52 (KJV) "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
If you're watching all those news stories and are wondering where everyone has gone, you are one of those that have been left behind. Are you feeling a bit rejected by God? Why didn't he take you? He took your spouse. And your grandmother. Your son's kindergarten teacher is missing. Even the out-of-work guy that lives three houses down from you. You were a good person, didn't get into any major trouble. Paid your bills on time. Worked every day. Went to church on the "biggies", Christmas and Easter. So, why not you? The problem is that God didn't reject you; somewhere along the line you rejected Him. How? It's simple. You did not commit your life to Jesus. He had no choice. But you did.
Matthew 7:21 (KJV) "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
You are probably listening to people cry out that since they missed the rapture, they are doomed. That isn't true! Don't listen to them. The only way you can be eternally lost is if you take the Mark of the Beast on your forehead or your right hand. As long as you have breath in your body, it is never too late. You can take the first step by trusting in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Matthew 11:28 (KJV) "Come unto me, all (yes) that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Revelations tells us that during the tribulation, a huge number of people will be saved. There is hope for you yet.
Revelation 7:14 (KJV) "And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Should you make the decision to follow Jesus, be advised it will not be easy. These are troubled times, the majority of the world will fall victim to the Anti-Christ. Those of you who have recently committed your life to Jesus, will refuse to praise the Anti-Christ, who in turn will demand your death.
Revelation 13:7-10 (KJV) "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."
For a while it will be pretty easy to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Of course, it will have to be a secret. I wouldn't recommend trusting anyone. There will be some, who will try to trick you. Be careful. It is a trap. The Anti-Christ will soon require all those remaining on earth to receive his mark on either their forehead or the right hand. If you don't get this mark, you will not be able to purchase or sell anything. Food. Clothing. Rent. Absolutely nothing. And that is going to be obvious.
Matthew 24 (KJV) "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Revelation 13:17 (KJV) "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
Whatever you do, don't get that mark. If your friends do, don't. If the government says you have to, don't. DO NOT GET THAT MARK! I cannot stress this enough.
Revelation 14:11 (KJV) "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosever receiveth the mark of his name."
The persecution of Christians throughout the ages has been severe at times. But nothing compared to what you are about to endure. How long? There will be a day when the Anti-Christ will declare that it is he who is God. 1260 days later Jesus Christ will return to earth. Most of those that will have chosen to follow Christ during this time will never live to see Jesus return. A word of advice - if you are ever given the ultimatum of death versus the Mark of the Beast. Choose death. I promise you the bit of pain will be nothing compared to the pleasure of an eternity with God's glory.
Matthew 10:22 (KJV) "And ye shall be hated of all (men) for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."
Now, those of you that are reading this after the rapture, know what to do. Those that are reading it before... It's not too late.
Dear Heavenly Father,
You have called me to Yourself in the name of Your dear Son Jesus. I realize that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life; and is the only Mediator between You and man.
I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner. I believe that Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed his precious blood on the cross, died for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I am truly sorry for the deeds which I have committed against You, and therefore, I am willing to repent. Have mercy on me, a sinner. Cleanse me, and forgive me of my sins as I forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me.
I truly desire to serve You, Lord Jesus. Starting from now, I pray that You would help me to hear Your still small voice. Lord, I desire to be led by Your Holy Spirit so I can faithfully follow You and obey all of Your commandments. I ask You for the strength to love You more than anything else so I won't fall back into my old ways. I also ask You to bring genuine believers into my life who will encourage me to live for You and help me stay accountable.
Jesus, I am truly grateful for Your grace which has led me to repentance and has saved me from my sins. by the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit, I now have the power to overcome all sin which before so easily entangled me. Lord Jesus, please transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to You alone and not to myself.
Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. With my heart, I believe that God the Father raised His Son Jesus from the dead. This very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and according to His Word, right now I am born again. Thank You, Jesus, for coming into my life and hearing my prayer.
I ask all of this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen
